Greenwashing is a term that describes a manipulative marketing campaigns that sell products as ecological when they’re not. It may be represented by many things such as building blocks from reused materials sticked together by loads of glue, canvas bags that you don’t need or usage of materials that are biodegradable but require much more energy to create or deliver than the traditional ones. And you may add terms of which the meaning is hard to tell such as green project management. Those all are unpleasent in two ways.
- They are naturally decieveng for those who fall for them.
- They make any sincere effort harder because they undermine the trust of public.
What is your favourite example of greenwashing and have you ever had a querel about one?
